“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Corinthians 12 v 27 NIV)
Lord and Master,
Lord and Saviour,
Lord and Brother,
Lord and Redeemer,
Lord and Sanctifier,
Lord Jesus, God with us.
Jesus is to us,
God’s way,
God’s truth,
God’s life,
In all holiness.
Thus He blesses us.
“Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds; Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains; Your justice like the ocean depths.” (Psalm 36 v 5, 6 NLT)
Jesus is sharing life with us,
Whatever the ups and downs.
On the Lord Jesus
Sits the crown of life.
For He is virtuous
Fully, perfectly human.
We must proclaim Him
Name Him as He is,
The living and ever abiding
Word of God’s love and mercy,
Our testimony to holy truth.
That truth which invites us to:
“Behold. Be brace. Be courageous.” (Joshua 1 v 9)
“The Lord will grant you His grace and His peace.” (Tobit 7 v 11)
“Because we work with God in the cause of the gospel, we implore you not to reject the grace He has offered you. He says ‘Because this is the time of My favour I have heard You. Because this is the day of salvation I have helped you.’ Listen to me! This is now the time of His favour: This is the day of His salvation when you can be reconciled and made one with Him.” (2 Corinthians 6 v 1, 2 The Truth) So, let us pray.
